Pamela Faye Washington, 56, of Vardaman passed from this life on Monday, July 11, 2022, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Pontotoc. She was welcomed into this world on June 14, 1966, by her parents Mary Louise Carter Washington and the late Clinton K. Washington.
Pamela, better known as Faye to her friends and family, spent her days as a homemaker. When she was not occupied with daily chores she could be found participating in a multitude of activities. She found joy in crafting; this hobby allowed her to tap into the creative side of her mind as she created unique pieces. When she was not crafting, Faye could be heard making a joyful noise as she sang with all her heart. Above all her hobbies and interest she cherished reading her Bible the most. In connection with reading her Bible, Faye worshiped her Lord and Savior with the family of believers at Church of The Lord Jesus Christ. Although she has gone to rest in a sacred place free from sickness and the pains of this world, Faye will be profoundly missed by her loving family and friends.
Faye leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in her absence: mother Mary Louise Washington of Houlka; two sisters: Mary Lynette (Van) Peden of Bruce and Loretta (Ronnie) Chunn of Tupelo; and a niece and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father Clinton K Washington and brother John Clinton Washington.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service celebrating her life will take place on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Charlie Hamblin and Bro. Linn Hughes officiating. Robert Hughes, Bobby McCaine, Lane Murphree, Logan Murphree, Larry Patterson and Van Peden will carry her to rest in Schooner Valley Cemetery.
The staff of Parker Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Washington family as they walk through this season of loss. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the passing of their loved one.
