Patricia Joan Glover, 81, passed this earthly life at home on Friday, July 18, 2025. She was born on October 28, 1944, in Calhoun County to the late Ernest Opal Newsom and Eva Mae Bruner Newsom
Joan was a graduate of Bruce High School class of 1962. She was a lady of many talents; she worked at several factories and as a cook at convenience stores. Her treasure was her family on this earth. She worshiped and praised the Lord at Faith Chapel Church in Paris.
She was preceded in death by her parents Ernest Opal Newsom and Eva Mae Newsom, brothers Robert Newsom, Billy Wayne Newsom, and Michael Lynn Newsom and a son Daniel Cleatus Miller.
Joan is survived by her husband Thomas Wesley Glover, Paris, MS; son Harvey Dean (Patsy) Miller, Pontotoc, MS; daughter Tracey DiAnne (Lane) Pilkington, Starkville, MS; sisters Myra White, Bruce, MS, and Carolyn Shaw, Coffeeville, MS; grandchildren: Charles Tyler (Mary) Hardin, Tracy Joe Hardin, Daniel Cleatus Miller III, and Erin Dawn (Bradley) Goodwin and 6 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Monday, July 21, 2025, at Turkey Creek Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until service time at 12:00 P.M. Rev. Jerry Smith and Doug Orlando will be officiating in the funeral service for Joan.
Pallbearers will be Timothy Earl Glover, Charles Tyler Hardin, Tracey Joe Hardin, Trusty Martin, Daniel Cleatus Miller II and Michael Perry. She will be laid to eternal rest in Turkey Creek Cemetery.
