Patricia Ann Hatfield,76, of Bruce passed from this life on Sunday, January 16, 2022, at Baptist Calhoun Nursing Home in Calhoun City. She was welcomed into this world on August 10, 1945, in Houston by her late parents Maxie Moreland and Corene Bailey Moreland.
Patricia was married to her loving husband, James Hatfield, for an expansive fifty-six years before her passing. The couple brought life to three children, three grandchildren, and an immeasurable number of memories made along the journey of life. She provided for her family by looking after the sick and elderly at the Calhoun City Nursing Home. Patricia found joy in many activities from watching the Kentucky Wildcats play basketball with her husband to crocheting and cross stitching. She also enjoyed the serenity found in coloring and playing the piano. She was an expert on the subject of love which could be evidenced by the affection she showed her husband, children, and grandchildren. This righteous lady always thought about others. She was a member of Trinity Bible Baptist Church where she learned about the many wonders of the Lord. Although she has departed from our presence, her smiling face will forever be remembered in the hearts of her family and friends.
Those left to continue walking down the path of life in her absence include: her husband James Hatfield of Bruce; two sons: Jimmy Dale Hatfield (Angela) of Bruce and Matt Hatfield of Bruce; one daughter Gail (Jim) Edwards of Coffeeville; three grandsons: Tyler Hatfield, Hunter Hatfield, and Andrew Edwards; special friend Angie Inman; and her beloved puppy Coco.
She was preceded in death by an infant son James Vernon Hatfield; her parents Maxie Moreland and Corene Bailey Moreland.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, January 20, 2022, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce.
