Patricia Starks

Patricia Joan Starks, 69, of Derma passed from this life on Wednesday, March 3, 2021 at her home in Derma. She was welcomed into this world on October 10, 1951 in Winfield, West Virginia by her parents Arley Buford Moore and Barabara Jeanne Settle Moore.

Patricia married her loving husband, Samuel Starks,  the couple spent a numerous amount of years together and filled the days with many precious memories. She spent many seasons of her life working for the United States Postal Service and by the time retirement came calling she had obtained the rank of Post Master. Patricia was best known for her sense of humor; she was always cracking jokes. She found leisure in travel and simply taking the sights of new scenery along the journey.

Patricia is survived by her loving husband, Samuel of Derma; one son, Anthony "Tony" Starks of Baldwyn; parents, Arley Buford Moore and Barabara Jeanne Settle Moore; two sisters, Karyn Clark  of Houston; Janet Kosa of Culloden, West Virgina; seven grandchildren Lilly Red ,Marilynn Starks, Aarley Starks, Jackson Starks, Hunter Cox, Artemis Starks, and Amelia Starks.

The Memorial Service for Patricia will take place on Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at 6:00PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce with Bro. Robert Ear Alexander officiating.
