Patricia Ruth Turner

Patricia Ruth Turner ,69, was called into rest by her heavenly father at the Bruce Community Living Center on October 11, 2019. Patricia graced the world with her presence on August 29, 1950 in Calhoun City. She was a daughter to the late Wesley Bennett Ruth and Thelma Marie Bramlitt Ruth. She was also preceded in death by her late husband, Joseph Laverle Turner.

Patricia was a 1970 graduate of Calhoun City High School. She was as an active member of the community serving in the tough position of Justice Court Judge and loving on children as an assistant teacher. She had a creative spirit and brushed into life many breath-taking paintings and pieces. Patricia was a joy to be around, loved people, and met life with a smile no matter the situation! She adored her family and cherished every moment she spent with them.A strong person of Faith, Patricia, was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where she praised and worshiped her savior.

Patricia leaves her family to carry her precious memory; Daughter, Tympel (John) Harrison of Calhoun City; Son, Tyrone (Crystal) Turner of Banner; Daughter, Tegra (Barry) Cannon of Calhoun City ; Brother, Douglas Ruth of Calhoun City; Three Grandchildren, Gabriel Turner, Michael Turner, and Jessica Turner.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 13, 2019, from 1:00-3:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. A funeral service remembering Patricia’s life will take place on Sunday, October 13, 2019 at 3:00 P.M  in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home ,with Bro. Darrell Logan and Bro. Vincent Anderson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Antioch Cemetery in Bruce. Jay Bullard, Porter Casey, Donnie Ruth, Tony Ruth, Brent Turner, Clinton Turner Jr.,  Derl Turner,  Jr. Turner,  Bubba Wall, and Joe Reabon Wall will serve as pallbearers.
