Rachel Elaine Taylor Wiggins, age 74, of West Memphis, Arkansas passed away on March 8, 2026, in Jonesboro, Arkansas at St. Bernards Medical Center Hospice. Born on April 15, 1951, in Calhoun County, Mississippi, to Simon Claudie Taylor and Hazel Coleman Taylor Newman.

Rachel devoted her life to caregiving, serving as a nursing aide at Yalobusha County Nursing Home, where her compassion and dedication made a lasting impact on the lives of those she touched.

In her leisure time, Rachel found solace and happiness in arts and crafts. She had a special love for flowers, especially growing them and arranging bouquets to share with others. She also enjoyed playing gin rummy with family and friends, and challenging herself with crossword puzzles.

Rachel's nurturing spirit extended beyond her profession and into every aspect of her life, creating a legacy of love and kindness that will be felt for generations to come. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, Rachel is survived by her sons, Charles Willhite (Sonya) of Proctor, AR and Richard Willhite (Melisa) of Water Valley, MS; her daughter, Selina Morris (Tony) of Livingston, LA; her sisters, Carol Duke of Bruce, MS and Lara Burnham (Charlie) of Little Rock, MS, and brother, Gary Taylor (Debbie) of Union, MS; and her cherished grandchildren, Jasmyne Willhite, Madison Willhite, Taylor Willhite, Jessica Province, Michael Savage, Brian Willhite, Christopher Wasson, Nathan Morris, and Taylor Morris. Additionally, Rachel was blessed with seven great-grandchildren who brought her immense joy.

Family and friends are invited to honor Rachel's memory during a visitation at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, Mississippi on Saturday, March 14, 2026, at 10:00 AM, followed by a funeral service at 11:00 AM in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Wade Myles officiating. She will be laid to rest at Parker Cemetery in Bruce, MS.

Serving as pallbearers include: Michael Cain, Tyler Mathis, Michael Savage, Chris Wasson, Brian Willhite, and Robert Williams.

Rachel was preceded in death by her father, Simon Claudie Taylor, mother, Hazel Elsie Coleman Taylor Newman, and brother, James Christopher Taylor.
