Rita Louise Easley

Rita Louise Gordon Easley, 80, departed from this life on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, MS. She was born on October 29, 1942, in Pelahatchie to the late Tommy Gordon and Katherine Stingley Gordon.

She spent many seasons of her life as the secretary for Coca-Cola of Memphis, TN. In her spare time, she loved shopping, coloring on the iPad, crafting, and shoes. She loved her fur babies and flowers. She was a member of Mt. Comfort Baptist Church.

She leaves behind her spouse, Hollie Easley of Banner; daughter, Robin Easley (Greg Whiting) of Brighton, TN; five sisters: Sybil (Lennis) Burnham of Pelahatchie; Margaret (Charles) Bowman of Pelahatchie; Shirley (Harvey) Rainer; Mary Frances Tillman of Pelahatchie; Faye Bryant of Pelahatchie; two brothers: Tommy Ray (Vicki) Gordon of Houston; Kenny Gordon of Pelahatchie.

Rita is preceded in death by her parents, Tommy Gordon and Katherine Stingley Gordon.

A private family memorial service will be held at a later date.
