Robert Sherman "Bob" Cooper, 63 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, at North Mississippi Medical Center
in Tupelo, Mississippi.
Born Tuesday, August 5, 1952 in Memphis, Tennessee, he was the son of the late William Albert Cooper and the late Robbie
Ray Yancy Cooper Easley.
He was the husband of the late Linda Collums Cooper who died May 25, 2014.
He was a member of Bruce United Methodist Church. He and served in the Mississippi Army National Guard. A Graduate of
Bruce High School class of 1970 , Northwest Mississippi Community College and Delta State University. He earned his
Doctor of Jurisprudence from Mississippi College School of Law ,After graduating from law school he returned home to
practice law in Bruce with Easley and Cooper Attorneys at Law Firm until presence.He was a former attorney for the city of
Bruce, and presently a youth court judge for Calhoun County, Mr. Cooper was a active member of Bruce Rotary Club.
Surviving are son, Sherman (Cassie) Cooper of Saltillo, MS, daughter, Jessica C. (Alex) Aguilar of Jackson, MS, One
brother, Bill (Beverly) Cooper of Bruce, MS. Step - father, Cliff Easley, Jr (Carolyn) of Bruce, MS. Grandchildren, Cooper
Aguilar, Sophia Aguilar, and Lily Jo Cooper.
A memorial service will be at 1:00 PM on Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home located at 476 hwy 9n Bruce, Mississippi
38915 with the Dr. Daniel Hathorne and Richard Freelon officiating.
Pallbearres will be Brown Burnette, Mack Burnette, Gene Dickson, Jerry James, Larry Joe James, Popie Pope, Tommy Reid,
Lee Yancy, Bruce Rotary Club Members and Calhoun County Barr Association.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Friday, April 29, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476
hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
