Robert Dale Patterson

Bruce, MS – Robert Dale Patterson, 65, passed away, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at North Mississippi Medical Center, Tupelo after a brief illness. He was born October 21, 1952 in Lake Charles,  Louisiana to the late parents of K.O. Patterson and Joy Lynn Logan Patterson. He was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church and a graduate of Bruce High School Class of 1971. He attended Northwest Mississippi Junior College and began his work career as a welder for water tank construction. Dale was a avid outdoorsman, he loved fishing, deer hunting and all sports especially, baseball, football and basketball. Dale’s greatest joy was his children and grandchildren, he was a Big Daddy to everyone he met, being that he was willing to help in any way that was possible.

Dale was preceded in death by his parents, grandparents, Robert Odis Logan and Naomi Logan and Curtis Clark Patterson and Ruby Patterson.

Those left to cherish his memory an his wife of 42 years, Wanda Winter Patterson, Bruce, daughters, Stacy Mitchell Graefe (James), Calhoun City, Ginger Carol Patterson York (Daniel), Bruce;  Son, Robert Allen Patterson, Bruce: seven grandchildren, Britian Graefe, Peyton Hardin, Paige Patterson, Chloe Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Tristen Patterson and Dakota York.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 23, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. . Funeral services will be Thursday, May 24, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander and Bro. Bob Burnham officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Comfort Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Peyton Hardin, Lanny Harwell, Greg Logan, Rodney Logan, Dean Patterson, Tyler Patterson, Mark Logan, Lynn Stewart, Ronald Washington and Reece Washington. Honorary pallbearers are Chad Logan,  Donnie Logan and Clark Patterson.
