Robert Lane Dickson, 92 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Wednesday, April 22, 2015, at Mississippi State Veterans
Home- Oxford, Mississippi.
Born Monday, March 5, 1923 in Sarepta, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Andrew Dickson and Lottie Stewart Dickson.
He was the husband of the late Winnie Rae Turner Dickson and a former Carpenter & Farmer.
He was a U.S. Army Veteran of World War II, and a member of First Baptist Church in Bruce.
Surviving are son, Gene Dickson of Memphis, TN. Grandchildren, Jasper Dickson of Houston, TX., Erin Dickson of Memphis, TN., Brad Dickson of Harrisburg, MS., and Craig Dickson of Olive Branch, MS.
He was predeceased by sons, James Robert Dickson and Hal Dickson, brother, Herbert Lake Dickson.
A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Dr. Daniel
Hathorne officiating. Interment will be in Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
Pallbearers will be Rupbert Bruner, Brad Dickson, Craig Dickson, Herbert L. Dickson, Jasper Dickson, Scott Hellums, and David James
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM on Saturday, April 25, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral
