Robert Earl Parker

Robert Earl Parker,74 of Vardaman, MS. passed away on December 22, 2024 at North Mississippi Medical center in Tupelo, MS. He was born on March 11, 1950, in Calhoun City, Mississippi.

Robert was a veteran, having served in the Army during the Vietnam War, and he embodied the hardworking spirit of his generation. He dedicated himself to his career as a factory worker at Franklin Furniture Manufacturing, where he spent many years before retiring.

A man of simple pleasures, Robert found joy in watching westerns and cheering for his favorite football teams.

Robert is survived by his beloved son, Jesse James Parker (Kayla) of Maben, MS; his cherished grandchildren, including Trista Parker, Dalton Ray (Adrian Bailey) Humphries, Dylan Lee Chandler, Kaden Parker, and Kohen Parker; his dear brother, Sidney Parker (Peggy) of Calhoun City, MS ; and his daughter-in-law, Patricia Parker of Calhoun City.

A visitation will be held at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Vardaman on December 29, 2024, at 2:00 PM  until 4:00P.M., where family and friends will gather to honor Robert’s life and share their memories.

Robert was preceded in death by his wife, Judith Parker,  father, Jesse Parker, mother, Hattie Malone Parker,  a son, Christopher Frank Parker, and a brother Russell Parker.
