Rogelio Alvarado Gonzalez, a beloved father, husband, and craftsman, departed this life on January 18, 2026, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, MS, at the age of 54. Born on July 23, 1971, in Cerritos, San Luis Potosí, Mexico, Rogelio carried with him the spirit and richness of his heritage throughout his life.
Rogelio was a dedicated carpenter, pouring his skill and passion into the construction industry. His commitment to his craft and his family were unmatched, as he strived to provide for and support his loved ones.
He is survived by his spouse, Rosaura Cruz Pachecano, and their cherished children: Jose Sebastian Alvarado, Jorge Alvarado, Kevin Alvarado, and Mari Alvarado Cruz. Rogelio's legacy will be carried on through his family, who will forever cherish his memory and the values he instilled in them.
Funeral services will be held in honor of Rogelio on January 23, 2026, at 2:00 PM at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Vardaman, MS with Deacon Carlos Sola' officiating. A public viewing will take place the day before, on January 22, 2026, from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the same location. Following the service, Rogelio will be laid to rest at Hillcrest Cemetery in Vardaman, MS, where family and friends will gather to celebrate his life and reflect on the love and memories shared.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jorge Miguel Alvarado, Ruben Ramos Flores, Diego Gutierrez Hernandez, Alicio Cruz Pachecano, Guadalupe Pachacano, and Rolando Cruz Pachecano.
Rogelio is preceded in death by his father, Felipe Alvarado Gonzalez and mother, Felipa Gonzalez Murillo.
In these moments of remembrance, we invite all who knew Rogelio to come together to honor his life and legacy. Let us remember the man who worked tirelessly for his family and shared so generously from his heart. His spirit will continue to live on in the stories we share and the love we hold for him.
