Andrew Ronald Clark, 95, passed this life on October 16, 2017 at Bruce Community Living Center. He was born October 16, 1922 in Houlka, MS. Ronald was a active member of Bruce Church of Christ. He was the past owner of Clark's Service Center "Texaco" and The Trading Place. Ronald was a true public servant helping those who was in need and was a devoted to civic duties and promoting Bruce. He served our country during WWII in the U.S. Army.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert P. "Bob" Clark and Ada Modess White Clark, and a sister, Thelma Clark Doty.
Those left to honor his memory are his wife of sixty seven years, Chris Spurgeon Clark, Bruce, MS; a daughter, Judy Clark Pittman, Tupelo, MS; a son, Scott Clark "Barbara", Tupelo, MS; a sister, Wilma Clark Simmons, Mobile, AL; five grandchildren, Christa Morgan "David", Chad Rodgers "Leah", Autumn Brooke Clark, Dillon Bryant Clark "Katie" and Natasha Pittman and Six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 17, 2017 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 18, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home chapel with Bro. Ben Blair officiating with burial to follow in Bruce Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be D.R. Barefield, Dillon Clark, Larry "Bud" McGreger, David Morgan, Chad Rodgers, and Earl Swanson. Honorary Pallbearers are; Charles Scott Alexander, Roy Davis, Cliff Easley, Paul Hendrix, Chick Hensley, Willie Isabell, Mike Moore, Walter Moore, Robert Edward Oakley, Phillip Pettit, James Pittman, P.D. Pittman and Archie Talford.
