Ronald Barrett Gordon, 68 of Memphis, Tennessee died on Monday, April 17, 2017, at VA. Medical Center in Memphis,
Tennessee.
Born Friday, February 4, 1949 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late William Barrett "Bill" Gordon and the late Lorene
Carter Gordon.
Ron was an Actor, and had been performing on area stages for nearly thirty years, also had a part in the Judd Nelson movie "Making The Grade" He also served stints as Technical Director at
both Germantown Community Theatre and Southwest Tennessee Community College. A carpenter, and set designer, he
served two tours of duty during The Vietnam War in the U.S. Army. A member of The Sons of American Revolution.
Surviving are daughter, Brandi (John) Bray of Vardaman, MS, sisters, Linda Bradshaw of Bartlette, TN, Charlotte King of
Southern Pines, NC, Deborah (Eddie) Gross of Bartlette, TN and Judy (John) Petty of Millington, TN.
He was predeceased by his parents and daughter, Camille Byrd.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Thursday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Ron Gephart and Bro.
Benny Hill officiating. Interment will be in Pittsboro Cemetery, Pittsboro, MS. with military honors.
Pallbearers will be Gene Elliott, William Henry, Garrett Howse, Jim Peckham, Clayton Perkins and Sam Weakly. Honorary Pallbearers will be, His Theater Families.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home,
476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
