Ronald Clinton "Unc" Jenkins, 81, of Banner passed away at his home on Tuesday, December 26, 2023. He was born on July 08, 1942, in Banner, MS, to the late Clinton Henry Jenkins and Bernice Lee Shields.
Ronald served his country and state by serving in the Mississippi National Guard for four years. He was the owner and operator of Jenkins Service Center for a numerous amount of years. In his spare time, "Unc" enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
He leaves behind a daughter in-law, Carlyn Jenkins of Banner; two grandchildren: Clinton Lee Jenkins of Oxford; Jonathan Timothy Reeves of Bruce, MS; sister in-law, Ann Jenkins of Banner, MS; seven nephews: Chuck (Regina) Jenkins, Chris (Jessica) Jenkins, Walker (Dawn) Jenkins, Grant Jenkins, David DeHetre III, Tyler Hester, and Ryen Ashford.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton Henry Jenkins and Bernice Lee Shields Jenkins; daughter, Debra Jenkins Vaughn; son, Bro. Ronald Clinton Jenkins, Jr.; two brothers: Ottis Faye Jenkins and Charles Ray Jenkins; granddaughter, Tina Marie Jenkins.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. The service honoring Unc's life will take place on Saturday, December 30, 2023, at 1:00 P.M. in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce with Bro. Dennis "Moe" Gossett officiating. Burial will follow in Providence Cemetery. Ryen Ashford, David DeHetre III, Tyler Hester, Chris Jenkins, Chuck Jenkins, and Jonathan Reeves will serve as pallbearers.
