Ronald Clarion Wallace, age 70, of Oxford, Mississippi, passed away at his home on April 22, 2026, surrounded by his loving family. Born on January 5, 1956, in Batesville, Mississippi, Ronald was the son of Faye Thompson Clark and the late R.C. Wallace. He was a proud graduate of South Panola High School, class of 1974, and held an Associate's Degree from Northwest Mississippi Community College.

Ronald dedicated 30 years of his life to serving in the U.S. Marshall Service, retiring from his position in security. He was deeply committed to his family and community, exemplifying strong values throughout his life.

Ronald was a beloved husband to his wife, Karen Sharp Wallace, and a cherished father to his daughters, Megan Lawrence of Pope, MS, and Lindsey (Josh) Springer of Oxford, MS, and his son, Daniel Edwards of Oxford, MS. He is also survived by his mother, Faye Clark of Pope, MS; brothers, Gary (Debbie) Wallace of Sardis, MS and Denny (Tammy) Wallace of Ruston, LA, as well as his grandchildren, Brandon Harris, Ava Harris, Fletcher Lawrence, and Vera Springer. Ronald also leaves behind his father-in-law, Barney Sharp of Oxford, MS.

A member of Calvary Baptist Church in Batesville, MS, Ronald found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He cherished fishing, weight lifting, indulging in afternoon naps, and immersing himself in Western novels. He also enjoyed visiting the casino, which brought him many moments of excitement.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, Mississippi, with a visitation from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, followed by the funeral service at 1:00 PM, Dr. Paul Middleton will be officiating. Ronald will be laid to rest at Webb Cemetery in Oxford, Mississippi. Serving as pallbearers will be Brandon Harris, Richard Harris, Ronnie Joyner, Josh Springer, J.P. Wallace, and Zach Wallace. Honorary pallbearers include John Brady, Tyler Sharp, and Jackson Springer.

Ronald was preceded in death by his father, Roderick Clarion "R.C." Wallace and grandson, Charles Blane Lawrence.

The staff of Parker Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Wallace family as they walk through this season of loss. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the passing of their loved one.
