Rosie Rice

Rosie Rice, 75, departed from this life on February 6, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Mississippi. Born on August 11, 1946 in Sledge, Mississippi, to the late Raymond Rice and Jessie Milam.

Rosie was best known for her love of the arts especially drawing and writing. When she didn't have pen to paper, she could be found playing on the computer or working in the garden .Although Rosie has departed from our lives, her treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of her loved ones.

Rosie is survived by one brother, John Adrion Tubbs of Water Valley and two nieces, Jessica St. Romain of Water Valley and Jayme Tubbs, of Water Valley.

She was preceded in death by her parents Raymond Rice and Jessie Milam Rice

The funeral service honoring Rosie's life will be held on Friday February 18, 2022 at 2:00 PM in Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander officiating.

Interment will follow the service at Pinecrest Memorial Garden in Water Valley, Mississippi. Jessie Johnson, Dustin Golden, Terry St. Romain, Matt Childers, Patrick Higgdon, John Tubbs and Jessie Wortham serving as Pallbearers.

The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm Friday, February 18, 2022, in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home.
