Rowena Rounsaville Cain

Rowena Rounsaville Cain, 65, died, at her home on March 28, 2021. Rowena was born on July 30, 1955, in Calhoun City, MS to her late parents Jones and Kathleen Yeager Rounsaville. She was a graduate of Calhoun City High School. Rowena worked for over 20 years as a registered nurse at Calhoun City Hospital and worked as a traveling nurse until her retirement. She was a member of Westside Baptist Church. Rowena loved her grandchildren and when she was not spending time with them, she could be found working in her yard and among her flowers.

Survivors include her husband Randy Cain, of Bruce; daughter Randi MaShea (Brent) Warner, of Bruce; sisters: Daisy Taylor, of Bruce; Georgia (Billy) Boell, of Calhoun City; and Wanda (James) Hughes, of Big Creek; brother Billy (Sarah) Rounsaville, of Big Creek; grandchildren: C.J. Bowling, Landyn Edwards, Austin Edwards, and Great granddaughter: Saydee-Beth Bowling

She was preceded in death by parents Jones Rounsaville and Kathleen Yeager Rounsaville and sister Martha Bell Rounsaville

Visitation for Rowena will be Wednesday, March 31, 2021, from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. A celebration of life will be held Thursday, April 1, 2021, at 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce with Bro. Craig McCormick officiating and Bro. Darrell Logan assisting.  Burial will be at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be:  Alex Alamiry, Jason Cain, Jordan Cain, Tommy Cain, Stormy Cruthirds, Jeremy Hillhouse, Carlton Leachman, and Tony Ruth. Honorary pallbearers will be: Chaz Austin, Chris Austin, Bruce Barrett, C.J. Bowling, Brantney Cox, Caiden Cox, Christian Cox, Tom Cummins, Austin Edwards, Landyn Edwards, Layne Haire, Ben Liles, Eddie Logan, Sutton Logan, Danny McConnell, Jess Russell, and Brent Warner.
