Ruby Greene, 93, went to her heavenly home on January 8, 2021, at Sanctuary Hospice House in Tupelo, MS. She was born on April 25, 1927, to Roy Brown and Alma Bailey Brown.

Ruby married the love of her life Coley Farris Greene and they had one child, Brenda Stegall Martin, of Bruce. She was a devout homemaker who loved her daughter and grandchildren and especially enjoyed cooking for them. She was also a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She enjoyed socializing with her friends at Bradford Manor.

Those left to cherish her memory are: daughter  Brenda (Rick) Martin of Bruce, three grandsons: Jay Stegall, of Grenada,  Keith (Lauren) Stegall, of Starkville and Rusty Stegall, of Olive Branch, and  great grandchildren:  Bryce Stegall, Coley Stegall, Carter Stegall, and Georgia Stegall.

Ruby is preceded in death by her parents Roy and Alma Brown, husband Coley Farris Greene, sister Lyda Weeks and brothers: Edward Brown, R. B. Brown, Leo Brown, Theo Brown, and Freddie Brown.

A graveside service  will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Mt. Moriah Cemetery with Bro. Kevin Chrestman officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Lee Brown, Rodney Brown, Kyle Poynor, Jay Stegall, Keith Stegall, and Rusty Stegall.

The family ask in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Sanctuary Hospice House PO Box 2177 Tupelo, MS. 38803.
