Ruby Faye Parker

Mrs. Ruby Faye Parker, 89, of Bruce departed for glory on August 3, 2019 at Pontotoc Extended Care. One of Nine Children, Faye was born to the late Henry Price and Annie Eliza Black Bollinger on September 23, 1929 in Calhoun County.

Faye was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church where she worshipped her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She adored gardening of all varieties, especially watching her flowers grow from bud to blossom. Above all her hobbies, Faye cherished and adored her family, and spent numerous hours praying for them.

She leaves her loving family to carry her memory; Two Daughters, Rita Ditto of Pontotoc, Valda (Jerry) Murphree of Reid; Two Step Daughters, Linda Gail Clark of Bruce, Wanda Lyn Meadows of Calhoun City; One Step Son, Benny Joe Parker of Bruce; One Sister, Vivian Massey of Banner; Four Grandchildren, Jennifer Black of Pontotoc, Jessica Goforth, Josh Mabus of Tupelo, and Seth Mabus of Cameron, North Carolina; Two Step Grandchildren, Jason Murhpree of Oxford, and Lindsay Hastings Bruce; A host of Great Grand Children ,and Great-Great Grandchildren.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents Henry Price and Annie Eliza Black Bollinger;Her Husband; James Robert Parker; Two Grandsons, Keith Clark ,and Korbin Mabus; Two Sisters, Marie Morgan and Ruth Crutchfield; Six Brothers, Durane Bollinger, Duro Bollinger, Henry XL Bollinger, LaDerle Bollinger, Maxey Bollinger, and Watson Bollinger

The family will receive friends on August 07, 2019 from 1:00-4:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. In addition, to the visitation a celebration of Faye’s life will take place on August 7, 2019 at 4:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.  Bro. Robert Earl Alexander will lead the celebration. Following the service, burial will take place at Ivy Cemetery in Bruce; Joseph Colna, Will Edwards, Dalton Goforth, Jay Goforth, Colin Hastings and Joey Hastings will serve the family as pallbearers
