Sara Richardson Moss

Sara Richardson Moss, 79, of Bruce passed from this life on Sunday, February 13, 2022, at her residence. Born on September 29, 1942 In Swiftown, Mississippi, she was a daughter to the late Alvin Franklin Richardson and Elizabeth Everette Richardson.

Sara spent years employed with Mental Health Regional Center, Region 6 in Greenwood as a supervisor, and also was an L.P.N. at several different places including the Director of Golden Age in Greenwood before retiring to enjoy time with her family.   She dearly loved her children and grandchildren so much they held a special place in her heart. Sara attended Concord Baptist Church, a place where she learned about the money marvelous works of the Lord. Although she has departed from our presence, Sara will forever be remembered the in hearts of her loved ones.

She leaves behind; Husband, Kenneth Moss of Bruce; three sons: Matt (Amy) Moss of Oxford; Mark (Jonette) Moss of Ridgeland; Michael (Kim) Moss of Bruce; one brother, John (Pat) Richardson; one sister, Katherine Brown of Ridgeland; five grandchildren: Tucker Moss, Cody Moss, Nicole Moss, Casey Moss, and Kaitlyn Moss.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Alvin Franklin Richardson, and Elizabeth Everette Richardson; three brothers: Allen Richardson, Bob Richardson, and Marvin Richardson; three sisters: Ida Bell Green, Pauline Kelly, and Merl Weir.

The graveside service celebrating Sara’s life will take place on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 2:00 PM in Concord Cemetery with Bro. Larry Edwards and Bro. Bill Williamson officiating. Gary Campbell, Glenn Green, Chris Long, Cody Moss, Tucker Moss, and Avery Skelton will serve as pallbearers.
