Sarah Jane Blount, 59 of Bruce, Mississippi died on Wednesday, March 4, 2015, at Sanctuary Hospice House in
Tupelo, Mississippi.
Born Wednesday, November 23, 1955 in Grenada, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late Charles Melton and
Mayford Bumgart Melton. She was the wife of Alvin Blount.
She was employed by Haworth Inc. in Bruce, MS.
She was a member of Lantrip Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Jeremy Blount of Nashville, TN, brothers, Charles Steven Melton of Vardaman, MS and Ricky
Lynn Melton of Bruce, MS.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Saturday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Robert Earl
Alexander officiating. Burial will be in Pinecrest Memorial Garden, Calhoun City, MS.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, March 6, 2015, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be: Chris Melton, Steve Melton , Jordan Griffin, Rick Melton, Ben Pratt, and Kyle Taylor.
