Sarah Gwendolyn Jones

Sarah Gwendolyn Jones, 70, passed away on February 2, 2024, at her home in Houlka, MS.

Sarah was born on May 22, 1953, in Calhoun County to the late Leslie Lamar Jones and Evelene Schwalenburg Jones.

Sarah is survived by her sister-in-law Rosie Lynn Jones of Houston, MS; nieces: Sherry (Jerry) Russell of Pontotoc, MS: Lana (Kenneth) Cruse of Houston, MS; Ginger (Jake) Young of Houston, MS; and Eva Marie Jones of Houston, MS.

Sarah is preceded in death by her parents Leslie and Evelene Jones, and her brother Landell Lamar Jones.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024, from 2:00-3:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. A graveside will be held on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, at 3:00 PM at Poplar Springs Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be: Dollina Cruse, Jay Cruse, Denver Russell, Hillary Parker, Abby Smith, Allyson Smith, Cydnee Webb, Kaleigh Young, and Ronnie Young. Honorary pallbearers will be Alan Carter, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
