Sharon Gilder, 86 of Vardaman, Mississippi died on Wednesday, August 6, 2014, at Decendent's Residence in
Vardaman, Mississippi.
Born Friday, May 18, 1928, she was the daughter of the late Thurman Marion Lowe and the late Gladys Fleming
Lowe. She was the wife of the late William "Jasper" Gilder. Also preceded by sisters, Monette Lowe, Margaret
Waldrop, Dorothy Price, and Jeannie Nathey. Brothers, James Davis Lowe, Thurman "Ish" Lowe.
She was a homemaker, and a member of Vardaman First Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughters, Wilka Gilder of Vardaman, MS. Cheryl Gilder of Vardaman, MS. Karen Harrelson (Mark) of
Vardaman, MS Annelle Scott (Kenneth) of Vardaman, MS. A son Bill Gilder of Vardaman, MS. One brother, Franklin Lowe of Houston, MS. Grandchildren,
Brandon (Toni) Taylor of Bay St. Louis, MS. Kenneth (Erica) Scott of Vardaman, MS. Leslie (Nathan) Fugett of
Vardaman, MS. Jay Scott of Vardaman, MS. Nicole Evans of Vardaman, MS. Jeff Harrelson of Vardaman, MS. and
Will Harrelson of Vardaman, MS. Ten Great-grandchildren.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Friday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in
Midway Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, August 8, 2014, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, Vardaman, Mississippi.
