Sharon Kaye Neal, 78, of Bruce passed from this life on Thursday, May 5, 2022, at her home in the Sarepta Community. She graced the world with her presence on February 14, 1944, in Marks, Mississippi, as a daughter to the late Hugh Clifton Smith and Callie Josephine Allen Smith.
If you were to look in the dictionary for the words sweet or precious, Sharon’s name would follow the description of the word as a living example of the terms. Not only was she a sweet and precious lady but she was also had a heart of gold. Sharon used this heart of gold to raise a family with her soul mate, Toy Dewayne Neal, until his passing in July of 2021. Their blessed union gave life to three daughters, six grandchildren, eleven great grandchildren, and memories too numerous to count. Aside from loving her family, she found joy in a variety of hobbies from the endless desire to read and work in her flower beds all the way to cheering “Roll -Tide” as she watched Alabama play football. She belonged to the body of believers at Sherman Baptist Church and attended until her health began to decline. Although Sharon has departed from our lives, her treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of her loved ones.
