Sheila Stamey

Pontotoc, MS – Sheila Sue Busby Stamey, 72, passed this life to her heavenly home, Monday, March 12, 2018 at Pontotoc Health and Rehab where she saw her saviors face. She was born August 14, 1945 in Pontotoc County to the late parents of Bro. Lajoyce Busby and Mary Sue Grubbs Busby. Sheila was a member of Carey Springs Baptist Church where she served The Lord and enjoyed worshiping with her church family. She was a graduate of Threadwell High School in Memphis, class of 1962. Sheila worked in the retail business as a clerk where she met everyone with a smile

Those left to cherish her memory are a daughter, Alecia (Lisa) Carter (Dennis), Pontotoc; sister, Sonnie McGregor (Tommy), Pittsboro; grandson, Drew Carter and a nephew, Chris McGregor (Kerry), Pittsboro.

Visitation will be at Carey Springs Baptist Church, Tuesday, March 13, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m.

Funeral service will be Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at Carey Springs Baptist Church at 11:00 a.m. with Bro. Junior Ritchie officiating in the service. Burial will be in Randolph Cemetery.

Deacons of Carey Springs Baptist Church will serve as the pallbearers.
