Shelby Jones

Shelby Jean Jones, 76 of Minter City, Mississippi passed away on Sunday, November 20, 2016, at Greenwood Leflore
County Hospital in Greenwood, Mississippi.
Born Friday, August 9, 1940, she was the daughter of the late William Murphree and the late Hazel Logan  Murphree.
She was a retired Dietary Manager for Ruleville Nursing and Rehab.
She was a member of Mt, Moriah Baptist Church.
Surviving are sons, Timmy Jones and wife Alma of Minter City, MS and Jeff Jones and wife Linda of Greenwood, MS,
daughter, Cindy Sultan of Grenada, MS; grand children; Justin Jones of Jackson, MS., Hunter Jones of Greenwood, MS. and
Eli Jones of Minter City, MS. and  2 great grand children.
She was predeceased by sister, Margie Bollinger.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Long
officiating. Interment will be in New El Bethel Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Michael Horton, Joey Murphree, Tommy Ramage, Stanley Thompson, Tony Thompson, and Danny
Wilcher.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Wednesday, November 23, 2016, at Parker Memorial Funeral
Home, 476 hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
