Sheri Mabry Childers

Sheri Mabry Childers, 72, of Bruce passed from this life on Wednesday, November 18, 2020, at her home. Born on May 21, 1948, in Grenada, Mississippi, Sheri was a daughter to the late Wyatt Holland Mabry and Kathryn Parker Mabry.

​Sheri spent many days of her life working at Sunburt Bank. After putting in many years of service Sheri earned the right to retire and practice her hobbies full-time. She loved watching sports, but she loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren even more. Sheri did not simply pass away she  held in her soul the cure to death, a relationship with the Lord where she worshiped Him at Derma Baptist Church when she was able.

She leaves behind an expansive family to carry her memory in their hearts: one son, John Daven Blansett of Bruce, Mississippi, two daughters: Leslie Morris of Bruce, Mississippi, and Julie Childers of Bruce, Mississippi, two sisters: Delphia Etheridge of Greenville, Mississippi, and Sandra (Richard) Hubbard of Derma, Mississippi, six grandchildren: Eric (Lakyn) Parker of Bruce, Mississippi, Chelle Blansett of Bruce, Mississippi, Christa Blansett of Bruce, Mississippi,  Nic Morris of Bruce, Mississippi,  Ana Blaiklee Morris of Bruce, Mississippi, and  Kathryn Haire of Bruce, Mississippi, Elizabeth Parker of Bruce Mississippi; three great grandchildren: Bentley Ledbetter of Bruce, Mississippi; Whitley Blansett of Bruce, Mississippi; and Marley McCostlin of Bruce, Mississippi.

Sheri was preceded in death by her husband Lenas Lee Childers,  parents Wyatt Holland Mabry and Kathryn Parker Mabry, one son Paul Darren Blansett, and one brother Clovis Mabry

The graveside service paying tribute to Sheri will take place on Saturday, November 21,2020 at 1:00PM in the Bruce Cemetery with Bro. Jimmy Vance officiating. Hugh Mitchell Cannon, Winnon Clark, Mark Hannaford, Todd Hannaford, Mike, Hubbard, Cole Parker, and Wes Parker will serve as pallbearers.  Gary Childers, Richard Childers, Brad Etheridge, Brandon Etheridge, Bentley Ledbetter, Eric Parker, and Nic Morris will serve as honorary pallbearers.
