Sherri Leigh Campbell Reed, an exuberant spirit and cherished member of her community, passed away at her home in Canton, GA after an extended illness on August 10, 2025, at the age of 62. Born on December 19, 1962 to John Thomas and Brenda Turner Campbell, Sherri filled the lives of those around her with joy, kindness, and love. A proud graduate with a Bachelor's Degree in Medical Records from the University of Mississippi Medical Center, she dedicated her career to the healthcare industry, serving faithfully at Christus Health in Houston, TX.
Sherri was not only devoted to her profession but also to her family and friends. She is survived by her beloved husband of 34 years, Brad Reed of Canton, GA; her loving mother, Brenda Campbell of Bruce, MS; her sister, Tina (Gary) Heath of Tupelo, MS; her brother, John Thomas (Lisa) Campbell, II of Bruce, MS; her son, Campbell (Meredith) Reed of Chattanooga, TN; her daughter, Olivia Reed of Atlanta, GA; and her cherished grandchild, Wesley Reed.
Sherri's faith was an important part of her life, guiding her values and the way she treated others. She was a member of Birmingham United Methodist Church in Milton, GA, where she found joy in worship, service, and fellowship. Sherri cherished friendships she made and she took comfort in the support and love shown within her church family.
An avid decorator and music lover, Sherri was known for her ability to create warm and lively environments that made everyone feel at home. She was the life of the party, always ready to celebrate the joys of life with those she loved.
In honor of her remarkable life, a public viewing will take place on August 14, 2025, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home - Bruce from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a Funeral Service in the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Dr. Kenneth Armstrong officiating. Friends and family are invited to join in celebrating Sherri's life and the legacy of love she leaves behind. Following the service, Sherri will be laid to rest in a burial service at Bruce Cemetery in Bruce, MS.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bill Malone, Mark Ferguson, Taylor Heath, Cole Gordon, Wesley Reed and Dr. Chris Tucker.
Sherri's radiant spirit and the love she shared with all will forever remain in our hearts. May her memory be a blessing, as we gather together to celebrate her extraordinary life.
Sherri was preceded in death by her father John Campbell and brother Ricky Campbell.
