Steven Hall

Steven Hall 36, of Bruce went to be with our Lord on February 27, 2017 at his home. Steven was born January 3, 1981 and was a member of Bruce First Baptist Church after accepting Christ at an early age.

Steven was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He loved reading and spending time with his family, friends and especially loved all children. Steven shared a great love for baseball. He played t-ball, coach pitch, little league, and later was selected to play All Star Baseball. Throughout high school, he played football for the Bruce Trojans and, was part of the 2A state championship. Steven was a friend to many and, was loved by all who knew him. A 1999 graduate of Bruce High School, Steven Later attended Northwest Mississippi Community College.

He is survived by his mother, Leanne Brasher and his father, Ricky Hall both of Bruce,  sisters, Allyson McGraw (Jim) of Tupelo, MS. Mary Catherine Hall of Oxford, MS. , brothers, Alex Hall (Kayla), Bruce, MS.  Jonathan Hall, of Oxford MS. ,and Christopher Lance Watts, of South Carolina,  two nieces he adored- Jacey Jenkins and Lilli McGraw, other siblings,  ,and Christopher Lance Watts. His grandparents Lou and Billy Hall and Jerry Brasher of Bruce, special cousins, Brandie Hall, Owen, and Seth Brasher, a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his Pipi, Max O. Brasher, Sr.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 on Thursday March 2, 2017 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, MS. with Dr. Gary Roberson, Dr. J.R. Eaton and Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Burial will be in Bruce Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 3:00 Thursday at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce.

Pallbearers will be: Matt Allen, Mac Brasher, III, Owen Brasher, Mark Hall, Tim Harrelson, Tom Lindley, Shawn Shepard, and Jason White.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Charlie Allen, Jacob Allen, Dennis Hardin, Fred Hawkins, Michael Wayne Herrod, Mark Logan, Dale Patterson, Robert Allen Patterson, and Ricky Vaughn.

An educational account for his nieces has been established at Renesant Bank in Bruce, MS.
