Susie Calder, 80, passed away on August 21, 2021, at Baptist Nursing Home in Calhoun City, MS.

Susie Calder was born on March 19, 1941, in Bruce, MS, to her late parents James Coston and Mary Grace Pryor Coston.

Susie was a homemaker. She loved going to auctions, watching Wheel of Fortune, loved dogs and playing Bingo at the nursing home.

Susie was married to Billy Calder. The couple had 3 children.

Susie is survived by her husband Billy Calder of Bruce, MS; sons Timothy (Kerry) Sullivan of Dyer, TN; Faron Sullivan of Jackson, TN; stepsons Chris Calder of Grenada, MS; and Russell Calder of Oxford, MS; sister Sherry Webb of Bruce, MS; grandchildren Robert Caulder, Ty Sullivan, Trent Sullivan, and James Derrick Bryant; great grandchildren Reagan Sullivan, Cash Sullivan, and Stone Sullivan.

Susie is preceded in death by her parents James and Mary Coston, sister Mary Maxine Massey, brother James Donald Coston, and son James Bryant.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS. The funeral service for Mrs. Susie Calder will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021, at 3:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. David Hagerty officiating. Pallbearers will be Chris Calder, Russell Calder, Joe Massey, Terry Massey, Trent Sullivan, Ty Sullivan, and Roger Webb, Jr. Burial will follow at Rocky Branch Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
