Susie Myers

Susie Myers, 83, passed away on June 21, 2021, at her home in Bruce, MS. with her loving family by her side.

Susie Myers was born on October 11, 1937 in Grenada, MS, to Lonnie Perry and Aileen Perry.

Susie was best known for being a devoted homemaker and military wife following her husband William around the world. In Susie's younger years she volunteered to help in elementary school libraries helping children learn to read. She was also dedicated to her church teaching Sunday School and helping in the kitchen. She also helped her parents raise her younger brothers and sisters. One of Suzie' most cherished works was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Those left to cherish Suzie's memory are Mary Anne Melton - daughter, of Bruce, William Myers - son, of Bruce, Mary Ruth Turnipseed - sister, of Grenada, Jimmy Perry - brother, of Grenada, Richard Perry - brother, of Grenada, Matthew J. Myers - grandchild, of Water Valley, Linda (Joseph) Pryon - grandchild, of Grenada, Jaden S. Peters - great-grandchild, Kaylynn P. Pryon - great-grandchild, Mermri C. Myers - great-grandchild, Summer M. Myers - great-grandchild, Rainy C. Pryon - great-grandchild, Keegan J. Myers - great-grandchild, Melody Pryon - great-grandchild and some very special friends that she called her girls Ginger, Kelsey and Desirea Mcanally.

Susie is preceded in death by her husband William Myers, Lonnie Perry - father, Aileen Perry - mother, Dorothy McDill - sister, Lonnie Lee Perry - brother, Francis Perry - brother, Billy Roy Perry - brother

The service for Susie Myers will be held on Saturday, at 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Fletcher Moorman officiating.

Pallbearers will be Matthew Myers, Joseph Pryon, Jaden Peters, Wesley McCullar, William J. Myers, Jr. and Richard Gomez, Jr.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, from 12:00 until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home.

The family would like to give special thanks to Mississippi Health Care, Encompass Hospice and Fersenius Medical Care. They would also recognize Dawn Shields and Chelsea Anderson for being with the family during Mrs. Susie's passing.
