Terry Gene Wilmeth

Terry Gene Wilmeth,62, of Bruce departed from this life on Saturday, August 6, 2022, at his home. Born on February 17, 1960, in Creston, Iowa, he was a son to the late Dale Lloyd Wilmeth and Ida Lane Wilmeth.

Terry was married the love of his life, Sandra Diane Nix. He provided for his family by traveling the highways and byways of the United States as a commercial truck driver. When retirement called his name, Terry spent his days not only admiring car races and farming operations but also admiring trucks and tractors of all varieties. Aside from his love for anything with a motor, he enjoyed music and always kept the radio volume going.  Although Terry has departed from our lives, his treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of his loved ones.

He leaves behind a loving family to continue walking down the path of life in his absence; wife, Sandra Diane Wilmeth of Bruce; one son, Brandon (Vickie) Wilmeth of West Point; one daughter:  Kimberly (Kevin) McMahan of West Point; four brothers; Dick Wilmeth of Springfield, Missouri; Larry (Linda) Wilmeth of Indianola, Iowa; Robert (Shelly) Wilmeth of Red Oaks, Iowa; David (Barb) Wilmeth of Creston, Iowa; three sisters: Barbara (Larry) Jennings of Creston, Iowa; Becky Hartman of Creston, Iowa; Debbie Favel of Flossmoor, Illinois.

Terry was preceded in death by his parents, Dale Lloyd Wilmeth and Ida Lane Wilmeth.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce. The funeral service celebrating his life will take place on Thursday, August 11, 2022, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS with Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Kyle Carter, Jackson Langley, Chipper Nix, Jeff Nix, Scott O’ Brian, Kevin McMahan, and Jack Woods will carry Terry to rest in Memory Memorial Garden.
