Thomas Albert Moorman, 85 of Coffeeville, Mississippi died on Monday, May 4, 2015, at Yalobusha General
Hospital in Water Valley, Mississippi.
Born Sunday, February 16, 1930 in Coffeeville, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Albert Moorman and the late
Ruth Wilbourn Moorman. He was the husband of Alma Segars Moorman.
He was retired public school teacher and farmer and a graduate of Mississippi State University class of 1952.
He was a Veteran of Korea.
He was a member of Coffeeville First Baptist Church.
Surviving are daughter, Johanna "Timothy Wayne"Logan of Coffeeville, MS, sisters, Ann Haynes of Batesville, MS
and Mary Alice Moorman of Water Valley, MS. grand children, John, Michael, and Thomas Hood.
He was preceded in death by brother, Fred Earl Moorman, sister, Juanita Simpson.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Thursday at Coffeeville First Baptist Church with the Bro. Truman
Scarbrough officiating with Bro. Freddie Moorman. Interment will be in New Hope Cemetery, Coffeeville, MS.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 7, 2015, at Coffeeville First Baptist
Church, Coffeeville, Mississippi.
Pallbearers will be: Joe Bourn, James Robert Haynes, Tim Logan, Jeff Magee, Freddie Moorman, and Lee
Robertson.
Honorary Pallbearers will be: Buddy Adams, Wayne Coleman, William Jeffreys, John Wayne Smith, and Jeff
Sullivan.
In Lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Coffeeville First Baptis Church building fund.
