Tina Joyce Gregory Foster

Tina Joyce Gregory Foster, 59, passed this earthly life Thursday, September 6, 2018 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.  She was born October 7, 1958 in Bruce, to the late parents of Jimmy Williams Gregory and Johnnie Sharp Gregory.  Tina was a former employee of Big Yank Corporation in Water Valley, working as a seamstress.  She was a believer in Christ and was a member of New ElBethel Baptist Church.  Tina surrounded herself with her loving family and friends.  She loved reading books, television,  especially the ID Channel, to her husband’s dislike and to aggravate him in love. In her earlier childhood she enjoyed spending time outdoors and especially fishing.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Greg Foster, a brother, Jimmy "Butch" Gregory and two sisters, Lura McDonald and Michelle Barlow Poynor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Tony Glen Foster, Potlockney; daughter, Brittany (Jason) Fortner, Tula; son, Jason (Jo) Foster, Potlockney; sisters, Nancy (Pete) Petros, Potlockney, Jeanie (Danny) Harwell, Potlockney, Carolyn (Kenneth) Hodge, Yocona; grandchildren, Andrew French, Wesley Martin, Michael Fortner, Dakota Fortner, Destany Fortner, Hyler Foster; two great grandchildren, Dixie Martin, Alee Martin and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Saturday, September 8, 2018 at Parker Memorial Funeral Home from 12:00p.m. till service time at 2:00p.m., at the funeral home chapel in Bruce.  Bro. Bobby Snow will be officiating in the funeral service.  Burial will be at New ElBethel Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jonathan Camp, Blake Giles, Roe Gregory, Bradley McDonald, Johnny McDonald and Josh Rogge.  Honorary pallbearers are Al McDonald, Carl McDonald and Randy McDonald.
