Tina Marie Skyles

Tina Marie Skyles, 59, of Bruce passed away on October 14, 2021, Allegiance Specialty Hospital in Greenville, MS.

Tina was born on February 11, 1962, in Plattsmouth, NE, to Howard Lofton and Clara Brasher Lofton.

Tina graduated from Bruce High School in 1979. She was currently working as a seamstress at Southern Motion Furniture in Pontotoc.

Tina spent her free time creating crafts, working in her flower garden, and very much enjoyed bargain shopping. One of her greatest joys was spending time with her grandson.

Those left to cherish Tina's memory are: her son Joshua (Rita) Skyles, of Houlka; brother Ronnie Lofton, of New Caney, TX; sisters: Susan (Doug) Chaney, of Saltillo, MS; Teresa (John Paul) Akins, of Houlka, MS; and Sally West of Baton Rouge, LA, and grandson Haden Garrett Skyles.

Tina is preceded in death by her parents Howard and Clara Lofton and nephew John Paul Yates.

A funeral service honoring Tina's life will be held on Sunday, October 17, 2021, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home at Bruce with Bro. Craig McCormick and Bro. Darrell Logan officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Mitchell Akins, Jon Blount, Frankie Lofton, Tom Lofton, Randy Poynor, Josh Reese, and Michael Skyles will serve as pallbearers. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Bryan Burcham, Jake Campbell, Colby Hamilton, and Braylen Parker.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, October 16, 2021, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Bruce, MS.
