Tony Glen Foster, 75, passed this earthly life surrounded by his loving family on September 30, 2024. He was born in Lafayette County on February 23, 1949, to the late Willie Junior Foster and Gladis “Polly” Bowles Foster.
Tony was a heavy equipment operator for Lafayette County retiring after 25 years of service to the county. He loved to fish, hunt, garden, and enjoyed his pet dogs and hunting dogs. He was a member of Haypatch Hunting Club, the N.R.A, Ducks Unlimited, and the Rifleman. Tony was a believer of the gospel and a member of New El Bethel Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents Willie Junior Foster and Gladis "Polly " Bowles Foster and his wife Tina Gregory Foster.
Those left to cherish Tony’s memory are his loving family: daughter Brittany (Jason) Fortner, of Tula; son Jason (Jo) Foster, of Paris; brothers Pete Foster, of Tula and Randall (Catherine) Foster, of Taylor; grandchildren: Hyler Foster, Destany Fortner, Wesley Martin, Andrew French, and Michael Fortner; great grandchildren: Dixie, Alee, E.J., Kam, Bailen, Robert, Cody, Adalyn, and Olivia.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 3, 2024, from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce. A service honoring Tony will be Thursday, October 3, 2024, at 3:00 P.M. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bobby Snow officiating. Burial will be in New El Bethel Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Josh Daniels, Wesley Martin, Blake McDonald, Bradley McDonald, Johnny McDonald, and Josh Rogge. Honorary pallbearers will be Blake Giles and Roe Gregory.
