Traci Lamar Doolie

Traci Lamar Doolie, 53, passed this earthly life on October 5, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-North MS in Oxford after a brief illness.  She was born November 12, 1967, in Water Valley to her late parents  Hugh Dane Lamar and Mary Bell Floyd Lamar.

Traci was a homemaker and a member of Victory Baptist Church.  She loved flowers and gardening, spending time with her children and especially her grandchildren.  Traci was a very good cook and she loved to share her food with her family and those in need.

She was preceded in death by parents Hugh Dane Lamar and Mary Bell Floyd Lamar and her grandparents Allene Massey and Gatha Lamar.

Those left to carry on her memory are her son Charlie Doolie, Jr. of Banner; daughter Amber (Curtis) Hobson, of Water Valley; brother Craig (Leslie) Lamar, of Derma; sisters: Patty (Eddy) Rose of Blue Springs and Melinda (Len) Pitts, of Randolph; grandchildren: Jayden Doolie, Nathaniel Hobson, and C. J. Hobson; nieces: Kathryn Crocker and Cheyenne Lamar; a nephew Eli Lamar and great nephew; Rivers Reid.

A graveside service will be Thursday, October 7, 2021, at Banner Cemetery at 10:00 AM with Bro. Danny Kelly officiating. Pallbearers will be Doyle Bagwell, Bobby Doolie, and Charles Doolie, Jr., Josh Heath, Curtis Hobson, and Dwight Tatum.
