Travis Dean Brown

Travis Dean Brown, 80, of Derma, MS, passed away on August 17, 2024, at his home. Born on May 25, 1944, in Chickasaw, MS, Travis will be remembered for his love of watching television and his extensive collection of assorted trinkets and memorabilia.

He leaves behind his brother Marvin Brown, and a host of nieces and nephews who will cherish the memories they shared with him.

Visitation for Travis will be on Sunday, August 18, 2024, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral in Bruce. A Funeral Service to honor Travis's life will be held on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 2:00 pm at the Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Bruce, MS, with Bro. Robert Earl Alexander officiating.  Travis will be laid to rest in Poplar Springs Cemetery with Brian Austin, Jonathan Austin, Kayson Broughman, Brooks Lucius, David Goodson, Andy Gordon, and Samuel Tipton serving as pallbearers.

Travis was preceded in death by his father Travis Walker Brown; mother Abbie Marie Franklin Brown; sister Linda Sossaman; and brother Donald Wayne Brown.
