Listen to Obituary

Trillia Aston Blue, 92, of Kyle, Texas passed from this life on Wednesday, January 19, 2022. Born on July 20, 1929 in Pontotoc she was a daughter to the late James Earl Aston and Ethel Octavia Singleton Aston.

Trillia spent many blessed years married to her husband William Blue, Jr. The couple gave life to three children, two grandchildren, two great grandchildren, and an endless number of memories made along the journey through life. She spent her days looking after her family as a devoted homemaker. Trillia wasn’t your typical small town southern wife, she had an adventurous side that she kept in touch with. She kept the tires on her car round by proudly traveling to all fifty states in the USA.  When she came across a snowcapped mountain she would strap on her skis and hit the slopes. In conjunction with her adventurous side Trillia spent many hours riding in a plane her husband and quickly decided that riding wasn’t enough. She put the studying and hours into becoming a solo flight student. When she preferred a more relaxing activity that didn’t entertain the thought of an insurance claim she could be found sewing or reading the stories in a romance book. Don’t let the adventures and thrills or her love for dancing distract you from her purpose as a loving mother and wife. Trillia was very family oriented and cherished her loved ones dearly.  Although Trillia has departed from our lives, her treasured memory will hold a special place in the hearts of her loved ones.

Those left to continue walking down the path of life in her absence include; two daughters; Linda (David) Butler of Kyle, Texas; Dawanna Blue of Philadelphia; two grandchildren: Ginger Carroll and Bucky Bell; two great grandchildren: Leo Thomas Carroll and Alice Isabella Carroll; one brother, James Hubert Aston of Randolph; four sisters: Maddie Nabors of Cape Girardeau, Missouri; Mary Ellen Buregeron of Houma, Louisiana; Sue Douhitt; Carolyn Boatwright of Dalton, Georgia.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William Blue, Jr; one son, Roy D Blue; parents, James Earl Aston and Ethel Octavia Singleton Aston; four brothers: John Luther Aston, Thomas Morris Aston, Willie Aston, Buron Aston; one sister, Maxine Braddock.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, January 23, 2022, from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home of Vardaman.  The funeral service celebrating her life will take place on Sunday, January 23, 2022, in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Chris Butler officiating. Bucky Bell, David Butler, Ben Carroll, Danny Tedder, and Ricky Wilcher will carry to rest in Hillcrest Cemetery.

The Staff of Parker Memorial Funeral Home is honored to serve the Blue family as they begin this new season of life. We ask that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers as they mourn the loss of their loved one.
