Trisha Ann Sparrow, 67 of Calhoun City, Mississippi died on Monday, March 20, 2017, at her residence in Calhoun City,
Mississippi.
Born Tuesday, January 10, 1950 in Clarksdale, Mississippi, she was the daughter of the late James Felix Nelson and the late
Catherine Wortham Nelson. Trisha attended Mt. Comfort Baptist Church. She was a former Teacher's Assistant, Bank Teller
and Secretary for a Construction Company.
Surviving are; her life partner, Wayne McMahan of Calhoun City, MS. sons, Robert E. (Sheena) Blount of Bruce, MS and James D. (Tammy) Blount of Bruce, MS, daughter, Robin
(Jeff) Robertson of Calhoun City, MS, Step daughters, Misty (Bubba Dye) McMahan, Rhonda McMahan, and Sherry (Ricky)
Wells. brothers, Larry Nelson of Pelham, AL and Shane Nelson of Water Valley, MS. Grandchildren, Kage Robertson,
Kaiston Dye, Hunter Jackson, Megan Jackson, Jamie Blount, J.D. Blount, Stevie Jackson, Lauren Murphree, Jonathon Baker, Steven Baker, Brigit Burt, and Zachery
Cowsert.  Eight great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by brothers, Dean Cunningham and Sonny Cunningham, sisters, Lois Howard and Shelby Willis.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with the Bro. Jimmy Vance
and Bro Jamie McMahan officiating. Interment will be in Mt. Comfort Cemetery, Bruce, MS.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, March 21, 2017, at Parker Memorial Funeral Home, 476
hwy 9n, Bruce, Mississippi.
