Vara McCormick Hannaford Nabors, 90 of Pittsboro, Mississippi died on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at Son's Residence in Monroe,
North Carolina.
Born Thursday, August 30, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Mitchell McCormick and the late Mannie Logan
McCormick. She was the wife of the late Grady Nabors and James Maurice Hannaford
She was a graduate of Bruce High School and was retired from Kellwood Co.
She was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
Surviving are son, Terry Hannaford of Monroe, NC. Sister in Law Jimmie D. Mcormick, Houlka, MS. Brother in Law
Cecil Hannaford, Atlanta, GA. and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.
She was predeceased by brother, G.V. McCormick, sister, Verea Wright.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Monday at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in
Poplar Springs Cemetery, Vardaman, MS.
The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, February 9, 2014, .
