Virginia Casey

Virginia Whitt Casey, 75 born January 4, 1942 passed away on June 9, 2017 at the home of Robert and Pat Melton who were her devoted caregivers. She was a devoted mother, grandmother, homemaker, excellent cook, and a beautician. She owned and operated Virginia’s Beauty Shop for over forty three years. She was also a faithful member of Midway Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents John Lee and Earlene Vance Whitt and a infant son, James Allen Casey.

Her survivors are husband Lynn Allen Casey of Vardaman, MS. Son, Whitney Allen Casey and wife Chrystel of Vardaman, MS. Daughter, Debra Casey Price and husband Robert of Gore Springs, MS. sister, Shirley Alford and husband Billy, of Corinth, MS. brothers Bobby Whitt and wife Ann of Vardaman, MS. Johnny Whitt and wife Nelda of Vardaman, MS. grandchildren, Lance Harrell,  Lee(Courney) Harrell, Lana Harrell, Ansley Casey, Abbey Casey, Aden Casey, and Lily Hamilton, 1 Great Grandchild.

A funeral service honoring Virginia’s life will be held on Sunday June 11, 2017 at 3:00 pm. At Midway Baptist Church in Vardaman, MS. with Dr. Gary Roberson, Bro. Roger Reeder, and Bro. Al Gaspard officiating. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 Saturday at Parker memorial Funeral Home in Vardaman, MS.  Burial will be in Midway Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Billy Joe Barfield, Bobby Inmon, John Michael Harmon, Wayne Johnson, Henry Lee Taylor, and Robert Wiggs.

Words fail to express how grateful we are for the care Pat and Robert Melton have giving her over the last ten years. You are truly a blessing to those you ministered too and cared for.
