Virginia Phillips Denton

Virginia Phillips Denton, 92, entered into heaven on May 27, 2018, where she reunited with he beloved husband, Jesse L. Denton, Sr.. She is survived by her loving children, Joyce Denton Clark (Donald), Jesse L. Denton Jr.(Barbara), and Thomas H. Denton (Diane).  She is also survived by her grandchildren, Sherry G. Dickens (Rickey), Michael Denton, Lesley Parker (Michael), Kim J. Holley (Chris), Samuel T. Denton (Ashley), Lauren Arant (Dan), and Karis Denton (Chad Callaway), as well as 11 great grandchildren and one on the way, and her sister, Anne Shirley.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Rex and Blondie Spencer Phillips, and her siblings, Thomas Rex Phillips, Jr. and Hazel Phillips Garret.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation Friday, June 1, 2018 at Bethany Baptist Church, Slate Springs, MS beginning at 2:00 P.M. until graveside service time at 3:00 P.M..  Graveside and burial will be at Bethany Cemetery with Bro. Thomas H. Denton officiating at the graveside service.
