Wayne Howell Hardin

Wayne Howell Hardin, 82, passed away Sunday, September 2, 2018 at Baptist Nursing Home, Calhoun City, where he was a resident.  He was born July 23, 1936 in Calhoun City to the late parents of Early Beason Hardin and Vernie Iona Vanlandingham Hardin.  Wayne was a member of Duncan Hill Baptist Church, a farmer, former school bus driver and a factory worker with Shannon Chair before his disability.

Wayne was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Francis Hardin, Martha Marie Hardin, brother, Thomas Earl Hardin and a nephew, James Michael Hardin.

Those left to honor his memory are a sister, Elizabeth Mitchell (Mike), Vardaman; brothers, John Hardin (Reva), Calhoun City, James Hardin (Carol), Bruce and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4, 2018 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00p.m. at the funeral home in Vardaman. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Parker Memorial Funeral Home Chapel in Vardaman  with Bro. Benny Hill officiating. Burial will be in Oak Springs Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Jake Anderson, Colter Branton, Kim Chrestman, Scott Hardin, Rob Henry and Richard Tutor.
