William Morris Terry, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully on December 5, 2025, at the age of 75. Born on October 21, 1950, in Calhoun City, Mississippi, William lived a life rich with love and laughter, rooted deeply in his community and the values he cherished.

William was a dedicated member of the Calhoun City First Baptist Church, where he found solace and companionship among his fellow parishioners. He was not only a man of faith but also a craftsman at heart, enjoying woodworking in his spare time, where he created beautiful pieces that will be treasured by his family for years to come. William had an appreciation for nature, often found riding his gator, marveling at the local wildlife, or quietly bird watching in the early hours of the morning. His love for the outdoors was matched only by his passion for maintaining a lush, pristine yard, where he took great pride in mowing and caring for his surroundings.

After a career as a maintenance worker for Calhoun County Schools, where he was known for his reliability and dedication, William embraced retirement, allowing more time to spend with his family. He especially treasured his role as a grandfather, delighted by the laughter and joy that his grandchildren brought into his life. Jacob, Taylor (and Ashelin), Anna, Brandon, Mollie, and Ryleigh were not just his family; they were his pride and joy, and he cherished every moment he spent with them.

William is survived by his loving spouse, Rheba Louise McClure Terry of Big Creek, MS; his daughter, Rheba Michelle (Donnie) Ruth of Calhoun City, MS; his son, William Charles "Chuck" (Jessica) Terry of Calhoun City, MS; and his sister, Margie Allen of Big Creek, MS. He leaves behind a legacy of love that will continue to resonate within the hearts of his family and all who knew him.

William was preceded in death by his father: Charles Terry, mother, Clara Belle Butler Terry, and a sister, Charlsey Nix.
