Zackery Andrew Buchanan

Zackery Andrew Buchanan, 36, of Bruce, MS, departed from this life on Friday, March 03, 2023, at his home in Bruce, MS. He was born on January 29, 1987, in Oxford, MS to the Freddie Buchanan and Linda McCluskey Haire.

Zack was a graduate of Bruce High School Class of 2006. He had a heart of gold, was crazy, funny, and he lived one day at a time. He was a Mason of the Calhoun City Masonic Lodge number 506: Shriner, Scottish, and Yorkrite. Zack was a people person and loved his family, there will never be another one like him. He was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

He leaves behind his mother, Linda McCluskey Haire of Pittsboro; father, Freddie (Louise) Buchanan of Bruce, MS; brother, John (Donna) Buchanan of Saltillo, MS; two nephews: Seth Buchanan of Saltillo; Andy Buchanan of Saltillo; aunt, Bobbie Ann Dowdy of Myrtle, MS.

Zack is preceded in death by his grandparents, Bob and Annie Buchanan and Lee and Lela Belle McCluskey.

The family will receive friends on Monday, March 06, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 2:00 PM at Parker Memorial Funeral Home in Bruce, MS. The funeral service celebrating Zack's life will take place on March 06, 2023, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Parker Memorial Funeral Home with Bro. Darrell Logan and Bro. James Taylor officiating. Chris Bain, Andy Buchanan, Seth Buchanan, Bobby Cook, Joe Massey, Craig McCormick, Johnny Moore, and Casey Tutor will carry Zack to rest in Shady Grove Cemetery. The Masons of the Calhoun City Masonic Lodge Number 506 will serve as honorary pallbearers.
